Brisa Caceres Certification Specialist Southern California Minority Business Development Council, Inc.

Brisa Caceres began employment with SCMBDC in March 2009.   Since then, Brisa has worked with the Certification team and the Vice President in the development and implementation of a user-friendly online certification application and other innovative projects designed to enhance and improve MBEs overall certification experience. 

Instrumental in the pilot launch of the Business Opportunity Board, a service that will allow any entity to post and review Requests for Proposals and Bids Specifications, Brisa has provided a number of recommendations that should ensure an effective and efficient process to capture the greatest number of postings by entities using the BOB.

Knowledgeable in all the various types of MBE certification the Council conducts, Brisa’s quality customer responsiveness has ensured quick turn around and optimum efficiency in the recertification process.

In March 2010, Brisa received the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) “Certificate of Achievement” for completion of National’s Certification Training Program.

Having recently received her Associates Degree, Brisa is a candidate to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Cal-State Los Angeles.
