Fernando Velasquez Director of Innovation Southern California Minority Business Development Council, Inc.

Fernando Velasquez began his employment with SCMBDC in 2007, assisting with the development of the council’s seminars and strategic matchmaking events. As the newly appointed Director of Innovation, Fernando works in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the recently established Innovation Committee, to develop and implement new ideas that increase SCMBDCs value to Corporate Members and Minority Business Enterprises. Another proud Trojan….Fernando earned his B.A. in Social Science with emphasis in Economics and a minor in cinematic arts from the University of Southern California.
