Recertification for Minority Businesses

Certified MBEs are required to recertify yearly in order to maintain certified status and remain listed in both local and national minority business databases. A $100 late fee applies to recertification applications submitted 30 days after the expiration date.  

90 Days Prior to Expiration Date
Login to recertify online using your certificate number and issued password.
Note: Online recertification is not accessible after the expiration date.

Within 60 Days After Expiration Date
Contact the Certification Department at (213) 689-8097 or certification@scmbdc.org.
Note: A new certification application is required after 60 days of expiration
