Guided by his vision and entrepreneurial talents, Andy Lee has become one of the leaders in the service and support outsourcing industry. Andy graduated from the University of Southern California in May of 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
He began his career at Advanced Membrane Technology, Inc. (“AMT”), an international industrial membrane manufacturer. He quickly established himself and became the Vice President of Operations after only three years. Andy left AMT in June 1996 to start Emagine Studios, Inc. where he conceptualized and designed a webbased customer contact management program that integrated call center operations, returns management and e-commerce. In December of 1997, Andy became President of CTX Data Services, Inc. ("CTXDS"), the service division of CTX International, Inc. (“CTX”), a global manufacturer of PCs and monitors. At CTXDS he developed and managed CTX’s call center business, extended warranty business, post-sales service business and e-commerce business.
In June 1999, Andy founded Alorica Inc. ® (“Alorica”) to focus on the service and support outsourcing industry. Andy developed Alorica to create efficient, profitable solutions for companies in need of service and support outsourcing, and also to guide service organizations through the process of re-engineering their business models to integrate technology and service. Under Andy’s leadership, Alorica has revolutionized the service industry with the company’s development and integration of its real-time, webbased enterprise software suite, Helix by Alorica® (“Helix”), which provides support to the entire customer lifecycle, including frontoffice customer interaction, backoffice reverse logistics and out-of-warranty support.
Alorica’s unique approach to the service industry resulted in a fast growing, highly profitable company. In less than five years, Alorica developed a global infrastructure and its success earned the company numerous awards and accolades including the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award, and placement on Software Magazine’s annual list of the 500 largest software and service suppliers. Moreover, Alorica¹s software suite Helix received recognition throughout the industry earning TMC¹s CRM Excellence Award, Customer Inter@ction Solutions’ Product of the Year Award 2001, and was named Best of Show at Customer Inter@ction Solutions’ Conference and Expo in 2001.
In April of 2004, Andy joined Gateway, Inc. as its Chief Information Officer, responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's IT strategy to strengthen Gateway’s service and operational capabilities. Throughout Andy’s time at Gateway, he continued to watch over Alorica, and remained committed to his vision for Alorica. After successfully leading Gateway as CIO, Andy returned to Alorica as CEO and Chairman of the Board after a year at Gateway to pursue his passion in providing superior service and support solutions to the outsourcing industry.
Today Alorica has matured to a thriving worldwide organization through internal growth and strategic acquisitions with approximately 35 locations and over 20,000 employees. Alorica is a recognized BPO provider with diverse industry experience and an endearing commitment to service excellence.
