Professional Development

Professional development is key to helping MBEs compete, grow and become successful.  SCMBDC offers workshops and seminars to help MBEs effectively manage, promote and sell their businesses.  We also help MBEs innovate and advance their business performance through partnerships with Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management, USC Marshall School of Business and other organizations. 

We provide an array of professional development workshops on a variety of topics, including procurement and purchasing trends, growth initiatives, strategic planning, access to capital, social media, effective marketing strategies, and more.  

Ideas for programs and workshops come from MBEs, corporate members, business leaders and experts, university professsors, and buyers and purchasing agents to ensure our professional development programs are meaningful for entrepreneurs.
