Albert A. Stephens Director of Supply Chain Management Los Angeles Department of Water and Power

Appointed as the Director of Supply Chain Management for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP) in 2002, Mr. Stephens directs the Supply Chain activities of the largest municipally owned utility company in the country, with purchases totaling approximately $1 billion annually. In this capacity, he also directs the efforts for supplier diversity outreach, contract compliance, and strategic sourcing at DWP.

A visionary and pragmatist, Mr. Stephens was instrumental in the development and launching of DWPs e-commerce system that has modernized and changed the way in which purchasing business is conducted at DWP by serving as the Project Head and Chief Strategist for the project.
