Fernando Velasquez Director of Programs Southern California Minority Business Development Council, Inc.

Fernando Velasquez began his employment with SCMBDC in 2005, assisting with the development of the council’s seminars and strategic matchmaking events. Promoted to Programs Manager in early 2008, Fernando now manages the programs and services the council provides. In conjunction with the Board of Directors and Programs Committee, Fernando helps to develop, market and execute workshops, networking events, webinars and on-demand videos for entrepreneurs.

Fernando earned his B.A. in Social Science with emphasis in Economics and a minor in cinematic arts from the University of Southern California.
