MBE Certification Eligibility Questionnaire

Fee Increase Notice!
Beginning January 1, 2008, the non-refundable certification fee will be increased from $250.00 to $275.00.

Thank you for your interest in Minority Business Certification. In order to proceed with the certification application process, please answer the following questions:
1. Is your business owned, operated, AND controlled by 51% ethnic minority owner(s)?

*Ethnic minority owned is defined as any business having owner(s) belonging to the following minority groups: African-American, Hispanic-American, Native American, Asian and Pacific Islander American (Asian-Indian included). Caucasian women are NOT considered ethnic minorities.		 Yes

2. Are the minority/ethnic owner(s) who make up the 51% or greater ownership of the business U.S. citizen(s)?

4. Is the company headquartered in Southern California (excluding San Diego County)?

*Southern California (excluding San Diego County) is defined as being part of one of the following counties: Fresno, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura.
